Reply:insurance is a complicated matter and you can%26#039;t compare payments like that. lets say you find somone your age, with your car, your driving history and living in your area. Now you need to know what are their bodily injury limits? property damage limits? do they have medical payments? how much? what about personal injury protection? what are their conditions on that? do they have comprehensive coverage? collision? what are their deductibles? do they carry towing and labor? rental reimbursement?

the best way to find out if you%26#039;re overpaying is to know what you are paying for. find out those things i listed and then shop around.
Reply:The only way you can compare with someone else, is if your history is the same!

I%26#039;m 51 and own 2 vans. I pay $468 a year for both! That is because I%26#039;ve never had an accident, never even a ticket! I have an R1 rating, which is the best.
Reply:too much

this post would be better suited in polls and surveys
Reply:For automobile insurance the obvious way to get a fantastic rate is do a rate comparison on car policies. Make sure that you pick similar policies with the same deductibles, auto model, location, etc so that all options are an accurate comparison.

What I most often recommend is an internet comparison quote at http://www.lowratetoday.com since they have discount insurers and will give multiple quotes on car insurance polices.
Reply:I am a 22 year old male and I live in Houston, TX. I drive 2008 Honda Civic EX and I pay $140 a month with Geico.

If you feel like you are overpaying, you can always do some research online. I would compare quotes for 3-5 different insurance companies to see if you really are overpaying. The site below is a good resource because it allows you to compare quotes for all of the insurance companies in your area for free.
