Depends on the state you reside in, however, the basic are as follows............the title to the car, properly released by the previous owner/s. Odometer disclosure if the car is less than ten yrs old. Title application/registration form. Proof of insurance, proof of address, identification for all applicants. Sales/use tax will be due at time of registration, based on the tax rate for your county.
