HELP on a car Insurance Claim!!!!!!!!!?

My car was reversed into my other car...damage to both, but one is gonna cost some $$. I have to make a claim tomorrow w/Ins. Comp.


I really only care about the (1) car getting fixed, really?? (its brand new)





What is the best way to make a claim..#1-Tell them what REALLY HAPPENED..or #2- tell them my car was hit in a parking lot while I was in the store?


So its not my fault.!!

Actually if I tell them what really happened, I guess both cars could get fixed..the other car only has Liability on it, but since I hit it, wouldnt it be covered?

Tell the truth.





Lying to the insurance company - is never a good idea. And to tell them anything but the truth is insurance fraud.





The collision coverage on the damaged car will cover it (less your deductible).

When you are at fault for an accident- YOUR insurance covers BOTH vehicles damages- not just your own. She cant even go through her carrier b/c she doesnt have collision coverage.





Therefore if you commit insurance fraud and lie.. they will only pay your damages. Do you think her damgaes will just magically go away? NO. If your insurance company doesnt pay for her damages- she will come after your directly.





Doesnt sound so smart now does it?
